Free Motion Quilting
This service allows you freedom to select and combine designs. Use designs from my collection or I will create one specifically for your quilt. It includes designs specific to your creation such as spirals, paisleys, small background meandering or a combination of designs or patterns. The quilting will be either free hand or pantograms.
(approximately $0.03 per square inch).
Overall Meandering Quilting
This quilting service, sometimes called edge-to-edge, covers the application of large meandering or swirls on the entire quilt. This service is ideal for the "everyday" quilt or any busy quilt where the quilting will not be very noticeable.
(approximately $0.02 per square inch).
Thread
In most cases, one or two colours of thread may be used to enhance the quilt. There is a $3 charge for any additional colours.
Batting
Please let me know in advance if you want me to provide the batting.
The cost is based on the size of your quilt but is very reasonably prices compared to quilt stores
Binding Service Pricing:
I offer two levels. I will attach your binding ready for you to hand stitch, cost $20.
I will do the entire binding as per the following prices:
Preparing Your Quilt

Don't baste your quilt. It should be in pieces, quilt top, backing and batting.

Make sure the borders are flat and square. To do this, measure through the centre and then both edges of the quilt top vertically. If there is more than a 1" difference you will want to redo your borders.

Please ensure that all batting and backing are 6-8" longer and wider than your quilt top.

Trim any long or loose threads. They may show through the quilt top or get caught in the machine.

Check your seams for loose or open areas.

There is a $20/hour fee for fixing seams.

Please square the quilt top and the backing.

Also remove all selvage edges from the top and backing.
